Hello, dear Omnichat users!

Here are the latest feature updates:

  1. Conversation 2.0: Now you can add and edit custom attributes within conversations.

  2. Chatbot: The webchat chatbot now supports conditional reply cards.

  3. Mobile Number Binding: Supports tagging upon the first mobile number binding.

  4. LINE NotiPress: Supports new notification scenarios.

Conversation 2.0: You Can Add and Edit Custom Attributes on the Conversation Page

🙌🏻 Tiers: Requires activation of customer service and custom attribute features.

📍 Feature Navigation: Conversation 2.0

Customer information collected during conversations can now be manually added and edited into custom attributes!

  • Triggering Journeys: If a change in the custom attribute value meets the conditions set in other features, it will trigger corresponding actions such as journeys, chatbot conditional reply cards, membership cards, etc.

  • You can Only Modify Custom Attribute “Values”: The scope of adding and editing the custom attributes on the customer service conversation page is limited to the “value” of custom attributes, meaning you can only modify the data within the fields. To create new custom attributes or change the display names, please visit the Custom Attributes management page.

  • Supported Platforms:

    • Supported: WhatsApp, LINE, Instagram, Facebook

    • Not Supported: Webchat, WeChat

  • Role Permissions: Any role that can view the conversation can add and edit custom attributes.

Adding Custom Attributes

The custom attribute field on the right sidebar of the conversation page will only show custom attributes that already have data for the customer in the current conversation.

For example, if a custom attribute like “Membership Level” has been created but the customer in the current conversation does not have this data synced or saved, the field will not appear.

To manually add a customer’s membership level to the custom attribute, the customer service agent must click the “Add” button, find the relevant custom attribute, and input the custom attribute value.

Custom Attribute Dropdown Menu:

  • Supports searching by “Display Name” or “Attribute Key.”

  • The dropdown will display all custom attributes available to the team, excluding archived attributes and attributes already associated with the customer.

Editing Custom Attributes

If the customer already has existing data for a specific custom attribute and the customer service agent needs to make changes, simply hover over the custom attribute. An edit icon will appear on the right side, and clicking the icon will allow you to edit.

Chatbot: Webchat Chatbot Now Supports Conditional Reply Cards

🙌🏻 Tiers: Requires activation of the “Conditional Routing” card for the chatbot.

📍 Feature Navigation: Advanced Automation > Bot Builder

The webchat now supports Conditional Reply cards! This feature allows you to respond to customers with personalized messages based on their data (tags, member ID, phone number, email, custom attributes), creating more tailored communication experiences.

LINE Mobile Number Binding: You can Tag the Customers After First-Time Binding

🙌🏻 Tiers: Requires activation of the Membership Card module.

📍 Feature Navigation: Social Subscription Management > Mobile Phone Binding

We have added a new feature to the mobile number binding settings that allows you to add tags to customers upon first-time mobile number binding.

This makes it easier to perform follow-up marketing actions, such as switching rich menus or triggering journeys, once the customer has completed the binding process.

LINE NotiPress | New available scenarios
