WhatsApp Major Update: BSUID Support Is Now Available
Starting June 2026, WhatsApp will gradually roll out new privacy protection updates, including the introduction of the “Usernames” feature and a new user identification mechanism: BSUID (Business-Scoped User ID).
Under this new mechanism, users can choose whether to share their phone number with businesses or their Usernames instead. To support this transition, Omnichat has introduced the following platform updates:
