## **Team Security Upgrade: Restrict Login IP Addresses**
To help teams strengthen account security and internal access control, Omnichat now officially supports **Restrict Login IP Addresses**.\
This feature is **available to all plans** and does **not require any additional add-ons**.
🔑 **Key Features**
* **Self-service setup:** Configure directly in **Team Settings**—no manual request required.
* **Role-based control:** Apply login IP restrictions by role.
* **Comprehensive protection:** IP checks apply to both **Web** and **App** logins.
💡 **Who Is This For?**
* Teams that allow logins only from office or corporate networks
* Organizations with security or internal control requirements
* Teams looking to reduce the risk of account sharing or remote unauthorized access
#### ⚙️ **How to Set Up**
Go to **Settings → Team Settings → Login Settings** to find the following option:\
**Restrict Login IP Addresses**
#### 🧭 **IP Restriction Details**
* **Default:** No restrictions. All roles can log in from any IP address.
* After enabling, configure the following two settings:
* **Select roles to restrict** (multiple roles supported)
* **Allowed login IP addresses**
* Multiple IPs can be entered
* **IPv4 only**
* **CIDR notation is not supported** (e.g. `192.168.0.0/24`)
> After setup, **only the selected roles** logging in from **approved IP addresses** will be able to sign in successfully.
👉 Go to **Settings → Team Settings → Login Settings** now to enable **IP address restrictions** and add an extra layer of security to your team accounts 🛡️
