Hello, dear Omnichat users!

Here are our latest feature updates:

  1. New Filter Conditions: Last Broadcast Click Time and Read Time

  2. OMO: Sales staff can now follow up on open conversations and automatically bind with the customers

  3. LINE Rich Menu: Supports tagging when opening a URL or switching menus

  4. LINE Imagemap: Now supports transparent images and message duplication

New Filter Conditions: Last Broadcast Click & Read Time

📍 Available in: Broadcasts, Audience Management, Social Contacts

A customer’s last broadcast read or click time is a key indicator of their engagement.

You can now use these two new filters across Omnichat’s Broadcast, Audience Management, and Social Contacts features.

Facebook / WhatsApp Filters:

  • Last broadcast read time

  • Last broadcast click time

LINE Filters:

  • Last broadcast open time

  • Last broadcast click time

OMO: Sales Staff Can Now Follow Up on Open Conversations and Bind with the Respective Customer

ℹ️ To enable the “Allow sales staff to follow up on open cases” feature, please contact your account manager.

Once this feature is activated, sales staff and managers can view and follow up on all open live chats. After claiming, the system automatically binds the salesperson to the customer via OMO.

  • If the sales role is assigned to multiple stores, the customer will be automatically bound to the first store.

  • No message will be sent for successful follow-up / adding notes / Auto-reply during off-business hours

  • For channels other than WhatsApp and LINE, the conversation can be followed up, but binding will not occur.

  • Sales roles will receive push notifications for open live chats:

    • Tapping the notification opens the chat directly.

    • If the conversation has already been claimed, the user will be redirected to the conversation list.

  • Sales roles can search for unassigned conversations on the Conversation List.

  • Bulk follow-up is supported.

  • Open chatbot conversations are not eligible for follow-up.

  • Once this feature is enabled, both sales and customer service roles can follow up on the same unassigned conversation

LINE Rich Menu: Now Supports Tagging When Opening URLs or Switching Menus

With Omnichat, you can set up dynamic LINE Rich Menus that change based on customer behavior. Each menu button supports multiple actions, including:

  • Open a chatbot Block

  • Open a URL

  • Switch to another rich menu

  • Send a text message

Now, all actions except text messages also support tagging users!

You can apply up to 20 tags per action.

Tagging When Opening URLs

  • Tagging is only available if the LIFF URL is set up.

  • The following types of URLs do not support tagging:

    • tel:

    • mailto:

LINE Imagemaps: Now Supports Transparent Images & Message Duplication

You can now take advantage of two handy new features when setting up LINE Imagemaps in Omnichat:

1. Duplicate Imagemaps

2. Enable Transparent Backgrounds

Enabling Transparent Backgrounds

In the Background Image section, you’ll now see an option to “Show Transparent Background.”When turned on, the background image will be displayed with full transparency; however, this will disable the option to trigger a Chatbot Block. So, if you want to trigger a chatbot when the image is clicked, make sure not to enable transparent backgrounds.
