# Apply Official WhatsApp Business API WABA (Green Tick)

Under the Green tick account permission, WhatsApp Business API account information is allowed for edit, including account description, URL, Facebook fan page etc.

The procedures below are only available for the WABA account under WhatsApp Green Tick Verification status.

### **Step 1. Go to Meta Business Manager platform, and click "Account" > "WhatsApp Accounts"**

### **Step 2. Under the WhatsApp account, click “Setting“ and click “Contact Support”**

### Step 3. In “Topic”, click “Ask a Question” and click “Topic”

In “Topic”, select **“WABiz: Request or Update an Official Business Account“**

In “Type”, select **“Update OBA Display Name”**

### Step 4. Request type

Select “Update OBA Display Name”, fill in the related information and click submit. Wait for the WhatsApp approval.
