How to integrate LINE official account 2.0 to Omnichat?

## Part 1. Create a LINE Official account

### Step 1

Go to LINE Account Connect： <https://www.linebiz.com/tw/service/line-account-connect/>

Click the green button "Online apply the general account" or the blue button "Online apply the official account"

### Step 2

Select to using LINE account/ official account to login

### Step 3

After logging, fill in the LINE official account information and check the [LINE Offical account Terms of Service](http://terms2.line.me/official_account_terms_tw), then click "Confirm"

Click "Submit" after confirming all detail correct

When you see the following screen means your LINE official account is created succeed

Then, click "Go to LINE Official Account Manager" to enter the backend of LINE OA, and continuous the Omnichat integration setting

## Part 2. Integration LINE Official account with Omnichat

#### **First, enter to** LINE Official Account Manager (LINE OA backend)

**New LINE Official account:** Continue the first part, click "Go to LINE Official Account Manager" and click "Agree" to enter the backend of LINE OA (As below)

After logging in to “LINE Official Account Manager”, please select the LINE official account that you want to integrate with Omnichat:

### Step 1

Click "Setting"

Click the "Messaging API" in the left menu, then click "Enable Messaging API"

### Step 2

After clicking "Enable Messaging API", you first need to select the existing service provider or create a new service provider (**Provider)**

**Remark:** Please input your company name as a service provider rather than Omnichat

Then, please read the [**LINE Official Account API Terms of Use**](https://terms2.line.me/official_account_api_terms_tw) **and click "Agree"**

Next, fill in the URL of "Privacy Policy and Terms of Service" (optional). If not, you can also "OK" to go to the next step.

Please confirm the "Account name" and the "Service provider name", then click "Confirm" to activate the Messaging API officially

After clicking the "Confirm", you can see the below screen and the status is "Using"

Following the step below to get more LINE Developers integration information!

### Step 3

To integrate LINE, 5 pieces of information is needed

1. **App Name**
2. **Channel ID**
3. **Channel secret**
4. **Channel access token (long-lived)**
5. **LINE official account ID**

Please click "LINE Developers" on the Messaging API page

\*\* As Channel ID and Channel secret will display on the Messaging API page, you can also copy these two pieces of information on this page first

### Step 4

Enter the LINE Developers, you can first click the top right icon and choose your LINE account

Click the Channel (Official Account) to enter the setting page

### Step 5

Enter the setting page, go to the "Basic Settings" and "Messaging API " tabs to **obtain the required data for integration**

1. **App Name**
2. **Channel ID**
3. **Channel secret**
4. **Channel access token (long-lived)**

### Step 6

Switch to the **Messaging API** tab and you can scroll down to find **Channel access token (long-lived)**

### Step 7

#### How to get LINE Offical account ID

Enter the backend of LINE official account [https://manager.line.biz](https://manager.line.biz/)\
Copy the Red box information which is the **LINE official account's LINE ID (excluding @)**

### Step 8

Log in to [Omnichat Admin](https://app.omnichat.ai/), and go to Channels ->[ Social Channels Integration](https://app.easychat.co/integration.html), select LINE page and click "Connect LINE official Account

Paste those 5 informations and click "Add New"

After adding, you will get a new URL which is your LINE Webhook, please copy for further use

### Step 10

Back to the LINE Developers' **Message API page**

Find the Webhook settings and click "Edit" on the Webhook URL

Paste the LINE webhook URL here which you just copy from Omnichat, then click **"Update"**

**Open Use Webhook**

＊If cannot open Use Webhook on LINE Developers, you can enable the Webhook first which from the backend of LINE OA "Response Setting"

### Step 12

**Refresh the page and confirm "Enable" the Use Webhook**

Refresh the page and ensure the Use Webhook is Open. The checking for avoiding the bug in the LINE backend sometimes will close the Use webhook automatically. So, please re-confirm whether the Use webhook is enable.

### Step 13

Disable the "**Allow bot to join group chats"** and "**Auto-reply messages",** and click the "edit" button on the right to enter the backend of LINE OA for adjustment

If you set the "Welcome Message" in Omnichat, you can disable the Greeting messages

＊Additional questions

If I adjust in LINE OA "Response Setting" already, LINE Developers' Messaging API still has not been updated. It is because LINE Developers' display will not update immediately, but it will be updated after a period of time. So, if you confirm the setting of LINE OA adjusted already and the LINE Developers' Messaging API will be updated

This pop-up message means your LINE Official Account is integrated to the other team already. Please go back to the existing Omnichat backend to disconnect the LINE Integration first, then go back to new account for integration.

Please click the "Disconnect" button on the right, then click "Yes"
