# Persistent Menu

The persistent menu allows you to have an always-on user interface element inside Messenger conversations.

1. You can configure up to **20 buttons**. **Omnichat’s default button** automatically occupies **one**.
2. You can choose whether to **enable the Persistent Menu**.
3. **Create:** You can add a button to **open a URL** or **trigger a bot module**, and you can also assign **tags**.
4. **Edit:** Modify the button settings at any time.
5. **Delete:** Remove a button if needed.
6. **Default Display:** Omnichat messages will be shown by default.
