# Active Status

You can set up your Active Status here. Active Status shows your teammates when you're active and able to handle live chat.

## Setup Active Status

In the left hand side of admin page, team members can edit their active status.

**Reminder:**

* **Active Status** needs to be turned on **manually**, and will not be turned off automatically when you closed the admin page or quit the Omnichat App.
* **Active Status** will only show in admin page and Omnichat App, for informing your teammates your status, which is not visible to customers.

## More about Active Status

### When your Active Status is on:

1. Your teammates will see a green dot next to the profile picture in the "Conversation" > "Progress" > "Teammate"

2\. Under "My Cases" session, you will see a list of active teammates on the right hand side of the admin page, and a green dot next to the profile picture. Please check if your teammate is active before transferring a case to him/her.

### Stop Auto Assign

If you have setup "Auto Assign", your teammates can turn off Active Status when they are away or finish the shift, they will NOT receive auto assigned cases. When they are online, they can receive auto assigned cases again, without changing the settings of Auto Assign.
