# Frequently Asked Questions

Facebook Post and Instagram Auto-reply

**Q:** Can I set the comment reply of "scheduled post" on Instagram?

**A:** Currently cannot

\
**Q:** Why do some Facebook / Instagram comments not trigger auto-replies?

**A:** Meta (Facebook / Instagram) may detect repeated replies as **automated or bot-like behavior**, which can sometimes prevent the configured auto-replies from being triggered. In such cases, you can first check whether the customer has received a **private message**, as private messages are typically not blocked.

Additionally, **Instagram has stricter privacy settings than Facebook**. If the user is not following your Instagram account, or if they have specific privacy settings enabled, it may prevent the auto-reply from being delivered.

If replies to comments or messages suddenly stop being triggered during a certain period, it may be because only a **single reply template** is being used. Sending too many identical responses within a short time can be flagged by Meta as **bot-like behavior**.

In this case, you can try setting up **multiple variations of reply messages** on Facebook or Instagram. The system will randomly select one of them when replying, which can help improve the chances of triggering responses.

However, if the account is already under Meta’s monitoring, it’s possible that replies may still not be triggered in the short term—even after adding multiple message variations. In such cases, we recommend continuing to monitor the situation and checking again after about a week to see if it returns to normal.

**Q:** If we later use a Facebook or Instagram post as an ad, will the comment auto-reply function still be triggered?

**A:** Yes, it can. In principle, if the post also exists on the Facebook or Instagram page’s timeline, it can trigger auto-replies. However, if it is a **dark ad** (i.e., created directly from Meta Ads Manager and not visible on the page’s timeline), then the auto-reply function will not be triggered.

**Additional note:** When users see the ad and comment directly on it, the auto-reply can still be triggered normally—they do not need to visit the page and find the post separately to leave a comment.
