### Why Configure the Binding Pop-up Message?

Omnichat works by tracking the shopping behavior of website visitors and subsequently dispatching Abandoned Cart Messages to their LINE, Facebook, or WhatsApp accounts.

Therefore, Omnichat must first identify and link the website visitor's identity with their social channel identity (Facebook / LINE / WhatsApp). Only then can the system successfully trigger the messages after they add items to their shopping cart. By utilizing the Binding Pop-up Message, we can seamlessly bridge and bind a web visitor's identity with their corresponding social media profile.

### What is the difference between the "Binding Pop-up Message" and the "Website Binding"?

While both features serve a similar core purpose, they differ in where and when they are displayed to the user:

* Binding Pop-up Message: This triggers a pop-up window the exact moment a visitor adds an item to their shopping cart, asking if they would like to receive cart marketing updates or exclusive offers.
* Website Binding Button: This can be configured on specific pages, appearing as a pup up in the bottom-right/left corner to invite visitors to subscribe/binding.
  * Definition of Website Binding: The process of linking a consumer's website browsing identity (cookie) with their social channel profile (LINE / Facebook / WhatsApp).
    {% endhint %}

### Binding Pop-up Message Trigger Timing

Pop-up messages are displayed to customers who have not completed social channel binding to help them bind their accounts for abandoned cart reminders. However, these messages won't be shown if the daily trigger limit has been reached.

Please note: The 'Binding Pop-up Message' and 'Abandoned Cart Remarketing Messages' are hard-bundled and enabled simultaneously. This means you cannot standalone enable 'Abandoned Cart Remarketing Messages' while keeping the 'Binding Pop-up Message' feature deactivated.
{% endhint %}

### How to configure the Binding Pop-Up Message

Please note that Omnichat's Abandoned Cart Remarketing feature **can only be enabled on one channel (Facebook / LINE / WhatsApp) at a time**. If you would like to switch to another channel, **the system will automatically disable the current channel** while you enable the channel you would like to use this feature on.
