# File-Sharing: Capabilities and Limitations
You can enhance your messaging experience by sending files such as documents, images, videos, and audio to your contacts. However, the ability to send these files is subject to limitations imposed by the messaging channels used. The table below outlines the supported file types and their size constraints for each channel within Omnichat:

**File Type and Size Requirements**
For the best results across all channels, use the following file types and sizes:
**Images**: **JPG/JPEG** and **PNG** are supported across all channels.
* Facebook: For optimal performance, keep image sizes under **1MB**.
**LINE Videos**: Use MOV or MP4 format. Supports common file types, e.g., **csv, pdf, txt, excel, psd, ai, ppt, docx, doc.** (Does not support **.exe** file format.)

## How to Use
Tap the **“＋”** button (see arrow in the image below) to choose the type of file you want to send (Image / Video / Audio / File). The following example uses **“File.”**
**Uploading files on LINE**

**File download expiry (LINE only):**
* Currently, expiry applies only to 1:1 messages. Saved replies and broadcast messages are not subject to expiry.
* The validity is fixed at **one month**, calculated in **UTC time**.\
For example: If a file is uploaded on **Sep 15 at 11:49 (local time)**, it will be recorded as **Sep 16 at 00:00 UTC**. Adding 30 days, the expiry date will be **Oct 16 at 08:00 (local time)**.
