Specific bot cards can be used according to each messaging channel.

Facebook Recurring Notifications Card

Facebook’s 24-hour rule only allows brands to send promotional messages to customers who have interacted with the page in the last 24 hours. After 24 hours, the customers cannot get the broadcast message from the brand.

Facebook provides Recurring Notifications for the brands and customers can receive brand messages (such as product recommendations or new offers) that they are interested in.

  2. Upload the photo: 1.94 : 1 (Mobile); 1.66 : 1(Web)

  4. The button text will be changed together with the broadcast frequency. But the wordings cannot be revised due to Facebook's restrictions

  5. Blocks: Can import to other blocks within the same bot

  6. Tag: The Tag will add to the contact after the customer clicks the button

Facebook Recurring Notifications | Remarks

Facebook officially launched this feature in 2022. For related policies on usage, please refer to the following webpage:https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/send-messages/recurring-notifications/

  1. After the subscription period, Facebook will send another optin message automatically for renewal

  2. Facebook may send "Continue messages" to customers in advance.

  3. Customers can manage their subscription notifications, including "cancel" and "resume," at any time within the Messenger app.

  4. While it is possible to regularly communicate with customers through messaging, there is still a chance or other factors that may cause the push notification to fail. For example, if the engagement rate (non-repeating daily active users) of a Facebook fan page is too low, Facebook may impose related restrictions, resulting in unsuccessful message push notifications.

  5. Facebook's official documentation states that there are limitations on the number of subscription reminders that can be sent to the same customer. Within a period of 7 days, a maximum of 10 subscription reminders can be sent, and within 1 day, a maximum of 5 subscription reminders can be sent. If the interaction rate of your Facebook fan page is low, there may be a reduction in the number of allowed sends mentioned above.

  6. If you are using a chatbot module to push messages to customers who have subscribed to Facebook periodic notifications, please note that the chatbot module can only contain one chatbot card. If you have a second or subsequent chatbot card, whether it is a text or image, it will be sent as a regular standard message and will be subject to Facebook's 24-hour policy restrictions.
