# CTR Button

The "CTR Button" section, if applicable to your broadcast, provides insights into how effectively your message's buttons led to recipient action. Let's break down what you will see:

**Data Display:**

* The section will display each message you included in your broadcast.
* If a message doesn't contain any buttons, you will see "No data" for that message.

**Button-Level Performance:**

* For messages with buttons, you will see details for each button:
  * **Button Name:** This identifies the specific button you included in the message.
  * **Button Type:** This indicates the button's function (e.g., call to action, link to a website).
  * **Click-Through Rate (CTR):** This metric reveals the percentage of recipients who clicked on that particular button after receiving the broadcast.
  * **Number of Clicks:** This shows the total number of times that specific button was clicked within your broadcast.

**CTR Calculation:**

* The button CTR is calculated as: (Number of Unique Button Link Clicks within 24 Hours) / (Number of Successful Broadcasts with Images Sent)

**Key Points:**

* This calculation focuses on unique clicks within a 24-hour window after the broadcast to prevent inflated results from excessive clicks by a single recipient.
* The denominator considers only successful broadcasts with images sent, as buttons are likely not applicable to text-only messages.

**Understanding CTR Button:**

By analyzing the CTR and number of clicks for each button, you can gauge how well they resonated with your audience and encouraged them to take action. This information can be valuable for optimizing future broadcasts by refining button text, placement, or overall call to action strategy.

{% hint style="warning" %}
When using templates with **CTA buttons set to “Flow”** for broadcasts, click-through metrics such as **click rate** and **clicks** will not be available in the broadcast details.

This is a **Meta-side limitation**—the related data is not returned to third-party platforms.\
If click-through tracking is required, we recommend using **Quick Reply buttons** instead and triggering the **Chatbot module** (with the WhatsApp Flow configured within the bot). This setup allows click metrics to be properly tracked.
